Taniel Kilajian is an Armenian-American filmmaker that experiments in both fiction and documentary mediums. His films have screened and won awards at festivals both domestic and international, including SXSW, Soho International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, and Literally Short Film Festival.

After graduating from UT Austin with an MFA in Film and Video Production in December 2019, he had the privilege of working for a year and a half as Terrence Malick’s personal assistant during postproduction of The Way of the Wind.

He is currently finishing up a short documentary that was shot in Armenia last summer and teaches at TX State University.
