Taniel Kilajian is an Armenian-American filmmaker based in Austin, TX. His films have screened and won awards at festivals both domestic and international, including SXSW, Soho International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, and Literally Short Film Festival.
After graduating from UT Austin with an MFA in Film and Video Production in December 2019, he had the privilege of working for a year and a half as Terrence Malick’s personal assistant during postproduction on The Way of the Wind.
He is currently a lecturer at TX State University and is working on a short documentary about the children of the Kharberd orphanage in Armenia.
